Is it okay to take material donations and then exchange it for cash?

No, it is not okay to take material donations and the exchange it for cash! The only reason for that is because if they do that then they could easily just change the clothes or anything else for dope,cigerettes,tobacco,dip,alchol,or anything else for that matter. So that is what I think.

It is not okay for people to take the material donations and get cash. The people that do that are just cheep scaps wanting money. Most people need all the stuff that they are taking, because most of them lost everything.

No, it is not okay to take material donations. First reason why is because my momma said so. second reason is because they did not buy the clothes they stole, and they are exchanging it for money so they could buy drugs, alcohol and other illegal stuff off the streets.

I think it is ok to exchange the items for cash. They might exchange the items for cash and buying the things they need.The people donating the items might not have the items that the evacuees need, so they have to buy it them self. I might be wrong and someone might buy drugs or alcohol with the money they got from exchanging an item, but someone might need something else than what they were givin. So they should exchange it and buy the things they need.

It isn't okay to return material donations for cash. It is just stupid to return clothes or food to a store. What are you going to buy with the money food or clothes? Besides someone else with children will need food or clothing and you are returning their needs for money. People are donating clothes and food out of the goodness in their heart and they are thinking of those children and other people in need. We aren't thinking of thiefs, crooks, or bad people in general.
