  • I think that abortion should be against the law. Because you are killing another person who hasn't even had a chance to live yet and to be that is being a killer. If you did not want the kid than you should not have been messing around.

  • No, abortion is not a constitutional right because no where does it say that it is legal to kill an inocent baby that is just like murdering any other person.

  • Of course abortion not right. The question, "is abortion right just because freedom of speech is", is like asking, "is murder right just because freedom of speech is", my point is abortion is murder.

  • I think abortion is a right just like any other thing is. If you were to get pregnant then I don't think you should have to keep the baby if you don't want to. What if you couldn't afford a baby right now and someone said you had to keep the baby, that wouldn't be very right to me. Some times girls get pregnant and they wouldn't take care of the baby, they wouldn't do anything for the baby they would rather just leave it on someone's doorstep or by a dumpster to die. Would you want a baby to be put through that? I wouldn't. I think that whoever gets pregnant should be able to choose wether or not they want a baby. I don't think it's anyone's buisness if someone has an abortion. What if the pregnancy was an accident? What then?

  • Abortion is against the law! Murdering is against the law and abortion is the process MURDERING babies. It is true their aren't physically born yet but their spirit is very much alive! Besides people wouldn't need abortion if the wouldn't get pregnant if they don't want the baby!! So if you think abortion is okay than you might think that gay marriage is okay.

  • No,abortion is not a rigt listed in the constitution.My little brother Matthew was born in July,he had gotten some gunk in his lungs and when he came out he was dead.Later the doctors told us that he might not make it.Everyone prayed for him and against great odds he actually made it,but the doctors told us that he might be mentally retarded.When he was realeased,he was told that he has a chance of still having some problems.He is three years old now and he is doing well.So the people at the hospital dont know how wrong they were,we were actually thinking about killing giving him an abortion because he was having seizures so much.He was so close to death.But then again we were wrong to.But any how why kill children instead of giving them a chance at life?

  • I think that Abortion is NOT a Constitutional Right. Just because you have the right to free speech doesn't mean you have the right to end a life that hasn't even really started. No where in the Constitution does it say that abortion is killing. Abortion, however, is EXACTLY like killing of another human being. The 10 Commandments say that you should not kill, and that is the reason why a number of people want to do away with religion. Everything that they are going for is obviously wrong in religious ways.

  • NO!! Abortion is not a constitutional right. Just because you have "free speech" don't mean that you have the right to kill a baby who didn't even do anything. If you didn't want the kid then why did u mess around? Everybody that "does it" knows that they are probally going to have the chances of having a baby! So therefore if you are not ready to have a baby then my advice to the people who would have an abortion is DONT EVEN MESS AROUND...Because PROTECTION DONT ALWAYS WORK!!

  • NO!! Aborttion is just wrong no matter what. There is protection and if it breaks then give the baby up for adoption or keep it. DOn't get an abortion and kill a child because of your own mistake. If your really that worried don't even have sex at all. It's not like you have to ahve sex or anything. Also if you think your too young or not finacially stable then don't have a kid or sex!!

Could you think about killing a baby if after it was born? I hope not but that's what your doing except you aren't even giving the baby a chance to be born.

    Abortion is sooooooo not right. If the girl don't want to have to take care of the baby and all that good stuff, then she should put it up for adoption! There are thousands maybe millions of families out in the world that can't have a baby and really, really want one. I would rather give the baby a chance to make better choices then the girl then kill a living human being.

  • To big sis 2010: Abortion is NOT a right! It's wrong! IT'S MURDER! If the pregnancy was an "accident" then she should take responsibility for her mistakes. Show some responsibility? If she had any faith, she would know that abortion is just not right, there are so many other options. If someone wouldn't let her put the baby up for adoption she should just ignore them. It's better than letting an innocent baby die because of your actions. You've lived your life. Or at least some of it. What about the baby? They haven't. And when you let abortion happen, they never will. How would you feel if your mom got an abortion with you? Probably not to good.

  • What about women who are rapped? Some kids are so young and you can't physically put a 14 year old through the aspects of carrying a child and giving birth to it. Her body most likely couldn't take it and SHE HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE SITUATION (IT'S NOT LIKE SHE SAID, "I WANT TO BE PREGNANT DUE TO A RAPE CASE"). THEREFORE, abortion is her only option. I believe that abortion is the woman's right. A baby isn't a baby until it has been developed for one week in the womb - it's just considered an egg. So, if the baby isn't a baby yet, how can it be murder?

    Abortions wrong even if the girls fourteen and got raped. her parent's could always take care of it or she could give it up for adoption. Abortion is wrong it is murder to because it's killing a living breathing thing. How would you like it if you could of been born and lived and had friends but your mother killed you. Once you think about it that wa you'd understand. If your pregnant your pregnant for a reason and obviously god wants you to ahve a child otherwise you wouldn't be pregnant.

  • Guess if my mom got an abortion, then I wouldn't care about not being here, would I, cuz I would be here to think about it. We are just going to agree to disagree I suppose. I do not think that abortion is wrong in instances such as rape. If you mess around and know that what you're doing is wrong, then sure, she should have to keep the baby to remind her of her mistake. Most parents/grandparents out here don't give a rat's behind about their children/grandchildren, so what makes you think that they would care to raise a child of their child's/grandchild's? Oh and by the way - eggs don't breath, so you wouldn't be killing something living and breathing.

  • Abortion is absolutely, positively wrong!! If you make a mistake then you should take responsibility for your actions. A girl should not be doing anything stupid because she knows what will happen. She will get pregnant! If you even consider an abortion it is wrong. If you get pregnant you should give what is going to be your baby a chance. It is wrong to make a tiny baby pay for your mistakes. Abortion is not a Constitutional Right. It should be against the law. ABORTION IS MURDER. Just because free speech is a Constitutional Right, doesn't mean abortion is.

  • I don't at ALL think that abortion is right. Because killing a baby is almost like murdering something or somebody. Just because a baby isn't out of the mother doesn't mean it's living, it's breathing and eating and living. It's breathing, and if you leaved it by a dumpster or on a doorstep somebody's bound to pick it up, I mean c'mon it's a baby, and babies are cute, maybe not the best smelling things, but they are super cute!

  • To anony-user: I guess we always will disagree because I'm not about to change my views on it. From my understanding, you get abortions when the baby isn't an egg. I wouldn't know though, because I don't want to have anything to do with abortion. If the person got raped, she should really just have the baby. That's what I think. She could have screamed or ran away from the guy, but I guess you can't always do that. Most parents/grandparents are understanding and will take care of the baby. It's not like the rape was their fault! If they were abusive or mean parents and absolutely refused to take care of the baby, then surely she has friends or something who's parents might volunteer to help. She should try to do anything she can, just not abortion. And adoption is always an option.

  • Sometimes I want to say that is a right. When you think about it though your killing a baby. In the long run though your sabing the baby a lot of pain and heartache. They could grow up not being loved they may become something then they may not want to do good in the world. I mostly think that it is wrong, but in some cases it might be the right thing.

  • So, ugtwirlgirl2010, in a sense you see where my argument stands. I am not about to change my views about it either, and you may thing abortion is wrong, but that is the beauty of living in America - we are ALL entitled to our own opinions. That's what this blog is for - to see what others think, and I like to read other people's opinions. I stand firmly for abortion and that's that. There is nothing you can say to change my opinions, nor is there anything I can say to change yours. :)

  • NO!!! Abortion isn't a constitutional right just because free speech is. Abortion is just like killing someone. So whoever has an abortion should be charged with murder and should die. If you don't want a baby then don't have sex. It's plain and simple. Yes, in the constitution amendment 1 says freedom of speech, but nowhere in the constitution does it say you can kill someone. God didn't create that baby for somebody to kill.

    When you get an abortion it's not an egg it's a fetus therefore the baby would be ALIVE and it'd be murder. Abortiong's wrong no matter what.   • Well you know what, I don't care what ya'll think. I have my opinions and you have yours. I guess I'll settle on being a murderer. Oh yeah and you don't know anything about my parents, so don't say anything about them. They care more than most parents cuz they are very overprotective as it is. They agree with me on abortion and I suppose you wouldn't have to be around me cuz you are in Canada and I'm not. :)

  • Abortion is so wrong!!! the baby is alive and it does deserve a chance to live so if you think that killing a baby is right then your wrong, it should be against the law. If you are raped or something at a young age then you could just have the baby and give it up for adoption or somebody close could take care of it, don't kill it!! Abortion is murder and if you get abortion, or even think about getting abortion then think again!!!

  • abortion is wrong...it is murder. and especially if u are trying to campare it to free speech. Freedom of speech and freedom to murder i think are on two VERY different levels. As soon as the egg is ferilized it is considered to be a life...according to embryologists, who are scientists which specialize in unborn babies(embryos). So in other words as others have said...it is murder. If someone got mad and yelled at you that is their right-freedom of speech- but if they kill you then they would go to jail. Just because the baby is unwanted soesnt mean the mother can kill it.
