Bribing the teacher to skip class

Mr. Braxton allowed kids to skip his class if they paid him $1 a day. The authorities in Escamblia County, Fla. say he may have racked $1000.00 or more over three months. The 28 year old teacher has been charged with six felony counts of bribery.

Question to you.

What would you pay to not have to do something? And what would that be?

  • I would probably pay my little brother or sister do something, like do laundry or clean up my stuff for me. But I would never pay my teacher to skip class. That's just a waste of money because your going to get caught.

  • I would probably like pay my brother and sisters to do something for me but not like in school because i cannot afford to lose my educaton i want to become a lawyer and need my diploma to do it

  • If I could get out of school like that I would do it in a second and i've payed my sister to clean my room before i've even got her to do it for free

  • I would probably pay my sister to leave me alone or do my chores. But I don't think that I would pay my teacher to skip class. If your going to skip class then just do it don't pay for it.

  • I would probably pay someone clean something up like my room, but I'd probably end up getting in trouble. But to pay a teacher to skip class is pretty stupid. They'll never learn anything that way. And it's a waste of money! You're going to have to learn sometime, so you might as well now! And besides, you could do much better things with that money, like go shopping!

    m going to stay with school for as long as I can to get a good job. The kids must be pretty stupid rigt now for skipping alot of classes.

  • I wouldn't pay anyone to do things for me. If they are chores then their your chores not someone elses chores. I wouldn't pay my teacher to let me skip class. I think it is really dumb because you are going to get caught anyway even if you pay your teacher or not. You have a choice to go to class or do your chores or not people can't make those choice for you.

  • I wouldn't pay to not do something, period. It's a little thing called responsibility. Paying someone to get out class or doing a chore or something doesn't teach you anything but laziness. You're never going to learn anything if you're always getting someone else to do it for you. Plus, I don't even have any money!!!

  • I normally get my sister to do things for me, because all I got to tell her is that I dont feel good, But if it comes to school work, I actually do it, because if you get used to lacking then you will most likey not get a good job, because nobody wants a lacker.

  • If I had to pay someone to do something for me it would be my little brother. If I paid him good enough he would do it. I would probably have him clean my room. If you pay your teacher to skip class that is down right dumb. If you want to grow up and get a good job then you had better go to school and get a good education. I wouldn't pay my teacher because I would be wasting my money because my parents would catch me. I would be in trouble.

  • I would pay to get out of cleaning the whole house. Mainly because I do it everyday!! I would never pay to get out of school because I like school (some classes I don't' appreciate).

  • I wouldn't pay anything to not have to do something. I wouldn't pay a thing because I don't want to be stupid like a lot of other people all over the U.S. I wouldn't want to waste my money on someting stupid like that. The teacher is already getting paid, all you are doing is paying the teacher a pay raise to teach less kids. Which to me is stupid.

    I would pay my teacher to get out of class!!! Who wouldn't? No offense to any teachers out there but, class is kinda BORING!!! If a kid already knows something, then why do teachers go over it again and again? I would pay a BUNCH of money just to get out of Math. History is kinda hard but, I have my best friend in the WHOLE world here to stick it out with me so.... it's not that bad. And because Coach Mccaw is so bad.

  • I actually don't trust anybody enough to pay them to do my homework or a teacher to allow me to skip. Personally, I like school. I guess I'm a nerd or whatever. Now, I would do someone else's homework, but I wouldn't let a slacking student skip. It doesn't matter how much. The only thing that I would pay somebody to do, would be to ask a really hott guy for his number. I'd probably pay $20 at the absolute most.

  • I don't think that paying someone to do something is wrong to a certain extent. Like school work and stuff like that would be wrong. You're not always going to have someone there for you to pay to do your work. What will happen when you're out in the real world and you don't have anyone to pay? You need to learn how to do your own stuff. But the only thing I would ever pay to have would have to be for my little brother to be a normal little boy. I have wanted that since the day he was born with brain damage. I would give anything for him to be normal. Because all I've ever wanted was a little brother or sister that I could play with and do all of the brother and sister things. But I've never really got to do that. But I love my brother just the way he is. I know that one day he will be normal and then we can do all of that stuff together. Because I love him with all of my heart. I would do anything for him.

  • I would pay my little sisters to do something for me but never would I pay to get out of class. If my teacher let me do that i would demand he/she to get fired. I would to affraid I would get caught.

  • I would probably pay my teacher to check my work, and let me know what I have wrong. I would pay him by baking for him :) :)
