Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter)

Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) was recently killed while filming for the Discovery Channel. Some people are wanting the TV show the film of his death. You are the person to make that decision on showing it or not. What is your decision and why?

  • I would not let that tape go out to the media. Why would anyone want to see someone die right in front of their eyes? His death was a freak accident and his family (he has two small children) probably wouldn't appreciate turning on the TV only to see their loved one being jabbed in the heart by a stingray. That would be horrible!

  • aww no way! I would not want someone showing the death of anybody all over! no body wants to see someones death I dont think, but if you do well thenn :S. I defintly wouldnt wanna turn on the T.V to see someone so admired dieing right there! Just think someone smaller could turn on the T.V and look at that. I know many young children who I babysit who loved Steve Irwin and I know it woould be really hard to watch him die on T.V! I say no I dont think this video of his death should be shown on T.V!!!!!

  • It's hard to say because he would want it to show if he got killed by a croc but since it was just a sting ray he might not have wanted it shown. So it is really hard to tell if I would want it shown or not because I would just agrre with what he wanted.

  • I think that people just want an idea of how it happened. I watched a digital recreation of how it happened,I think that would satisfy some of the public need to understand. They should play the stingray footage and finish the project that they were working on at that time as a memorial to Steve Irwin.

  • No way! No one should have their death filmed! He is admired by many people, and why would someone want to watch their hero go down? Think of young kids who liked him! It's not good for them to see someone dying at all =S. Think of his family seeing his death all over TV and the internet! That would just make things harder than they already are!

  • I don't think they should show the film to the public. If he was still alive he would probably be ashamed of it. I think the choice is really up to his wife though.

  • Heyy I think they should but put a warning on the channel.. It'd be very educating to show how dangerous animals can be.. But then again I also agree about not putting it on some people would faint from the site.. but I don't really know..And Hillary you shouldn't be saying anything because you didnt even know who he was..

  • I Think that if people want to see it then, well, that's kind of weird, only because they will see he people there and they will see what happened, and they will just, basically see someone die! I don't think that his little girl, shes 11 i think) would want to turn on the tv and see her dad meing stabbed by a sting ray. I would have so many nightmares if i saw someone i knew, especially loved, being stabbed like that!!!
i think that the family, and hhis friends should decide yes or no, they knew him best

  • I think they should show the tape. It would show people the precaution the should use and the dangers about stingrays. Some people do stupid things and maybe this video could save some lives!!!!!!!!

  • First off I always thought Steve Irwin was an idiot for doing all those stupid animal things. I mean everyone knew that sooner or later he was gonna die. But no i dont think that they should film his death thats just mean!

  • I say NO WAY!!!!! thats awful!! We shouldn't allow this to go to the media. His family has already gone through enough we shouldn't put them any more.

  • I don't think that TV should show the world the images of his death. Someone is deeplys sick if he wants to watch someone dying. And someone would be even more sick if he permits all sorts of persons(kids and adults)to watch someone's death.
