"Do not be deceived......"

A quote: "Do not be deceived, bad company destroys good morals."

What is this quote saying and do you agree with it.

  • I think that the quote is saying that the kind of people you hang out with is the kind of person your gonna be, and i agrre with that. If you hang out with people that steal, kill, or cheat your are gonna wanna be accepted so you wil steal, kill, and cheat too. If you hang out with people that are over acheivers and do great things your gonna wanna do great things too. So the kind of crowd you hang with can be a great influence on you and if you hang with a bad group it'll destroy all the good morals that your parents worked so hard to teach you.

  • Please do not judge those who chose not to categorize people into groups of good and bad. A lot of students at UG are put into groups based on their parent's income or status in some of the school's parent organizations. Students should be judged on their character and ability, not on their parent's status in the community. I have found that it is sometimes hard for students to learn good morals at school because some of the teachers, sponsors and parents don't have good morals. They present one side to some and another to others. So be careful when judging others, what's on the surface may not be the whole story, after all it's not our place to judge.

  • I agree with that saying. I think it means that who you hang out with effects who you are, and it does. So, I agree with both people that posted but anonymous I don't think anybody judging anybody.
