You be the judge

This is an actual court case.

Recently a person won a million dollars in a lottery. She purchased the winning lottery ticket with a stolen credit card. She has been arrested. Now the question is what happens to the money? Does she get to keep the money or not and why?

  • She should not be able to keep the money. She should have to give it to the person she stole the credit card from. The person"s credit card bought the tickit, so they should get the money.

  • I think that the woman who stole the credit card should not be able to keep the money because she stole the credit card and used it to buy the winning lottery ticket. I think that the money should be put back in the lottery so that some one who really needs it can win it.

  • I think that the person that stole the card then won the ticket, should give the money to the goverment. Either they should do that or they can work it off by doing communite service in jail.

  • I think she should give the money back to the place and the lottery should keep growing.

  • I think the should reaturn the money to the lottery and then return the card. The lady should be in jail for a while. Then they should make the lottery keep growing.

  • No, she shouldn't get to keep the money. She stole the credit card so it's just like she stole the lottery money. I think sweetheart93 is right the person she stole the credit card from should get the money. There's no telling what else that lady bought with that women's credit card. And it is her credit card that bought the ticket.
