the Pledge

You are the judge, why did you say that the Pledge is unconstitutional?

  • I want these kids to be getting an education not have all these religions in the schools. Without saying under God in the pledge and having religion they can focus on their goals. Without having to think about religions and all those other things. So if they can get an education then they will have well paying jobs to look forward to in their lives.

  • I think its wrong if you dont say the pledge unless you don't believe in GOD. Because, not everyone has to say the pledge but at least stand up and put your right hand on your heart its not gonna take but not even two minutes of there learning time. Plus, if you at least do that then you are telling GOD that you are thanking him for putting his life up for you.

  • These kids should be in school to get an education not to be shaken of their beliefs. Since my children go to a Public School, I'm allowing them to say under God, but I don't encourage it. With the word "under God" in the pladge, then they cannot concentrate on the true meaning of being at school and getting an education.

  • To frog-heaven14 and mmormongirl2010:
yeah your kids might have well paying jobs, but my kids will have eternal life because they are devoted to their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and worship Him and Him alone... not worshipping their "wonderful educations." And if you think that the pledge is just causing so much havoc on their education, lettme tell ya that's the least of your worries, what about the drugs, the peer-pressure! My children will be devoted to their Saviour, and you know what He's going to bless them with wonderful grades and a great education, far better then someone who doesn't have time for Him, and who denies Him!!!

  • To anonymous: The only reason I posted that was because I didn't want them to have people getting mad at them. Trust me, they are 2 of my friends, they have no kids! They didn't post that. So, don't call them ridiculous please.
