Should he be excused from death sentence?

You be the judge:

Twenty-three years ago an accused was found guilty and received a sentence to die. The prisoner is now sentenced to die Dec. 13th. Should the prisoner be excused from the death sentence since the last 3 years he has been proving that he is a reformed person?

  • I think that he sould take the death sentence because he could just be pretending to be good and if he did it he sould be punished.

  • No doubt that there should at least be consequences. But if he has truly and honestly changed he should not be executed. He should just be put on probation or something for the rest of his life but at least give him a chance to live.

  • I think that they should just move the death sentece to a later date to see if he truly has changed. Yes, he could be pretending. On the other hand he could want to turn his life around. They might be able to use a different punishment for him or a test to see if he's changed.

  • I think that if he claims that he has changed they shoul excuse him because everyone deserves a second chance..From catlin walker

  • No, he committed the crime and should have to pay the price. He could just be sucking up to save his life. Then he could turn around and turn back to how he was before.
